I Did It!

Yesterday, in Mommy's classroom, I took my first official steps! Can you believe it?! I am actually learning to walk! I am still a little wobbly and often want to crawl because it feels safer, but I am getting braver every time I try it. I can't wait to show off my new skills to all of my friends! They are going to be so excited that I can actually keep up with them now!

Coming Soon...

...pictures of my very first freckle. After looking at Mommy, I have a feeling there are a lot more in store for me.

Microsoft Picnic

Last Sunday, Mom and Dad took me to the Microsoft Picnic. It was so much better than last year (I was too little to do any of the really fun things- I couldn't even eat any of the delicious food). But this year, I got to eat, play in the toddler area, and go to the petting zoo. I had so much fun! I could also see that things like that are only going to get more fun as I get older- my next milestone will be the bouncy inflatable toys!

Master of the Wave

Just yesterday, with the help of my new friend, Erica, I finally mastered hand waving. I have actually known the concept of waving for awhile, but I hadn't quite figured out the part where I move my fingers. Now, I can't get enough of it- I wave even when there is no reason to wave. I just like it so much! I can even wave with both of my hands at the same time.

Trevor's Treats

There is nothing I like better than giving Trevor treats... and by treats, I mean feeding him the snacks Mommy and Daddy intend me to eat. I don't even mind having to go to Trevor- I will crawl (with the treat in my mouth) right to where he is laying. Once there, I will slip him the snack. Sometimes, I don't eat any of the snack myself- I just give it all to Trevor. He just seems to love anything I give him so much! I feel like the nicest baby ever!

"Little Chompers"

You guessed it... my new nickname. Mommy and Daddy gave it to me when I bit both of them (on separate occasions) right through their jeans! Then, just yesterday, I bit Daddy on his shoulder as I crawled over him. Hehehe... teeth are good for more than just eating!

Drinking Through a Straw

I have now mastered drinking through a straw. It was just a couple of weeks ago when Mommy shared her Jamba Juice smoothie with me. I think it was easier for me because the liquid was already part way up the straw. Now, I can drink any kind of liquid out of a straw. It really makes going out to restaurants a lot more fun for me!
