On Mommy's Face
So, Mommy and I were just playing on the bed together when I felt my breakfast getting all jumbled up in my tummy. Next thing I knew, I spit-up all over Mommy's face! It was so gross- white chunks were everywhere! Needless to say, Mommy was pretty disgusted, too. Oops... sorry, Mommy!

Nanny Willow
Tuesday was my first day with Nanny Willow and her son, Levi. We had a great day together- I couldn't take my eyes off Levi. He knows how to do SO much already. He can run around and read, throw balls and climb stairs. He is fascinating! I am trying really hard to learn some new tricks from him to impress Mom and Dad. Here is what Nanny Willow had to say about today:
"We had a great day with Paige today. I read books to Levi and Paige. Levi looked at the books and Paige watched Levi. It was really sweet, she wanted to grab his hands and watch his facical expressions. It was like she was experiencing the book through Levi. I thought it was great!"
I can't wait to see Nanny Willow and Levi again tomorrow!

Toilet Water
Okay, so Mommy got this crazy idea that she might be able to potty train me early. Her grand plan was to have me sit on the training potty at each diaper change and wait for me to tinkle. Umm... I don't think that is how babies are potty trained, at least it is not the way I am going to be potty trained. Hehehe... I didn't tinkle once! Then, the other night, Mommy thought that sitting me on the big potty and running water in the sink might encourage me a little more. No luck again. In fact, I just wanted to stand on the toilet seat and dance around. Well, I am sorry to say that this led to me putting my foot in toilet water! Yucky! While Mommy was a little discouraged that I didn't tinkle, she sure thought it was funny that my foot was dripping with potty water!

More Teeth
I am getting two more teeth! This time, they are coming in on top! Finally, I will be able to chew with more than just the two on the bottom. This will be especially helpful with my favorite snack- cheese crunchies! Yippee for me!
Just 2 More Months!
Mommy and Daddy just reminded me yesterday that there are only two months left to my very first birthday! Can you believe it?! In just two short months, I am going to be 1 year old! Mommy keeps saying that at this time last year I was still inside her belly! I wonder what Mommy and Daddy have planned for my big day?

Cognitive Ability Test
Mom signed me up for another study at the University of Washington. It was a cognitive abilities test. I sat in a high chair and watched two people using a cane to get a toy. Then, I went to another room where I saw an actor sometimes with the toy and sometimes with the cane. I guess they were watching to see where I looked- the cane or the toy. I am not sure what it all means, but apparently I was more interested in the toy than the cane. The best part of the whole experience was that I got to pick a toy to keep. I chose the froggy one that makes a ribbiting sound. Ribbit, ribbit.

First Camping Trip
I went on my very first camping trip this last weekend. Okay, so it wasn't camping in a tent, but it was close enough. Mom and Dad got a cabin at Bay View State Park. They have been there several times before. Not only did I get a special tent bed to sleep in, but I also got to hang out in a giant baby backpack. The first day, Dad was responsible for caring me and the second day, Mom took over. I had a great time sitting in front of the fire and checking out all of nature! I can't wait to camp again!

Day After Valentine's Day
Well, my first Valentine's Day was a mix of emotions for me. The morning started off great with a really cute card from my grammy! It was in the shape of a bunny and was actually fuzzy just like a bunny. That was fun! And, Mommy and Daddy kept wishing me a "Happy Valentine's Day." It was so silly! But, the afternoon made me really sad because it was my last day with Nanny Jana. Can you believe that Mommy and Daddy ended Nanny Jana's job on Valentine's Day? What were they thinking? Anyway, I was really sad and even cried when Mommy reminded me that it was the last time that I was officially going to see Nanny Jana as my nanny. I did overhear Mommy say that maybe Caileb and I could have a playdate in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait!

The Zoo
Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy took me to the Cougar Mountain Zoo! It was so much fun!! It is a small neighborhood zoo in Issaquah. I got to see cougars, lemurs, cranes, alpacas, emus, parots, reindeer, and best of all, baby tigers!! Well, the tigers aren't really babies anymore- they each weigh about 175 pounds! It looks like they are going to be getting more animals soon- I can't wait to go back!

A New Nanny!
I am happy to announce that Mom and Dad have finally found me a new nanny. Her name is Willow and she has a three-year old son named, Levi. I couldn't take my eyes off of Levi when he was over for their interview. He is so smart! He can already read and loved playing with all of my toys! I think that we are going to have a great time together! Willow and Levi will start coming over to my house after mid-winter break. I can't wait!

Nanny Update
Mom and Dad seem to be getting closer to finding me a new nanny for when Nanny Jana moves to CA. They have met with several nannies, as well as a family who would be interested in a nanny share. To be honest, I have had fun meeting all of the canidates. I think that I will be happy no matter who Mom and Dad choose.
Bad, Bad Night
Last night was one of the worst nights of my short life. Mom told Dad it is was okay for me to have some of the pork and white beans that they were having for dinner. All I can say is BIG MISTAKE! The meal made my stomach hurt SO badly that I couldn't sleep at all by myself. I needed to be near Mom and Dad. After the first bout of crying, Mom brought me into her bed to sleep between her and Dad. I fell back to sleep pretty quickly so Mom tried putting me back in my crib. That only lasted for about an hour and then it was back to bed with them. Pork and white beans is NOT the meal for me! Hopefully, tonight will be better- especially since Mom and Dad's bed is way too hot for me when I am in my fleece sleep sack!
